So much more than acting
Whether your child is a natural performer or breaks into a cold sweat at the thought of speaking up — LAMDA builds the skills that matter most in every part of life: confidence, clarity, and the ability to connect.
LAMDA exams are Ofqual-regulated qualifications, recognised by universities worldwide and valued by employers everywhere. It's an investment that pays dividends for life — earned while doing something they love.
Real craft behind the talent
If your child loves to perform, LAMDA gives them the technique to back it up:
- Expert guidance on voice, breath control and diction
- Textual analysis — understanding why a character speaks as they do
- The knowledge to discuss their work in the exam room
- Internationally recognised qualifications at every grade
LAMDA turns enthusiastic performers into exceptional ones.
The most transformative results
You don't need to dream of the West End to benefit enormously. Every child gains:
- Shy students find their voice — safely, at their own pace
- Academic students sharpen communication for interviews
- Students with anxiety learn to manage it — not just endure it
- Life tools that stay with them long after the exam
Often the biggest leaps come from the students who thought LAMDA wasn't for them.
Confidence they carry into every room.

Recognised where it counts
From Grade 6 upwards, LAMDA grades earn UCAS Tariff points that count alongside A-levels on a university application. A Grade 6 Pass is worth 10 points; a Grade 8 Distinction, up to 56 — a meaningful contribution to a university offer, earned doing something they love.

I never thought I'd be able to speak in front of people. Now I do it without even thinking about it. — LAMDA student, age 14
